Position Overview
A Shop Technician at MacAllister Machinery Co. is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment with a focus on hydraulic, powertrain, and electronic/electrical systems.
Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent with technical background
-Vocational training in diesel equipment repair preferred
-Minimum 3 years mechanical experience with heavy equipment
-Experience with Caterpillar equipment or rental company equipment preferred
-Working knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, and electronic/electrical systems
-Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
-Basic understanding of warranty administration
-Valid driver's license required
-CDL may be required
